The Scholarship was awarded to Justin Martinez at the
scholarship ceremony on Sunday, May 20, 2007. The scholarship amount
was $1,090. It was presented on stage to Justin by Kirk Stafford. Also
in attendance at the ceremony to lend support was Frank Lopez.
We were happy to award this sizable scholarship to Justin as he was the perfect candidate. He is beginning his career with an apprenticeship with a local dealer, and he will be attending school to further his certifications in each automotive area. Good luck Justin, we are confident you will achieve your goals. The scholarship is awarded each year to a graduating senior in the Fairfield school district who is pursuing a career in the automotive field, or whose parents are al-ready in the field. The funding comes from fund raising events during the year, which is added to the committed amount of $335 from the general funds. |

Dear The Golden Hills Mustang Club members, I just wanted to take this time to thank all of you for your assist-a-grad scholarship to help me further my career as an automotive technician. I really appreciate it and hope to put it to good use in attending a dealership specialty training school.
