Our Car
My friend Rose, was sick and her wish was to come to California, rent
a
Convertible and go for a ride on Hiway 1. Thus, the convertible
seed was
planted.
On our way to Vacaville Outlets to return a coffee pot, we spotted
a red
Mustang Convertible, and Lydia said "Wish I could have one more Mustang".
(Lydia's first was a 1964 1/2 Honey Gold coupe)
Did our shopping and then Rick drove to the Car Dealerships. Just
looking.
We saw a red Mustang, but it was a stick shift. Not for Lydia. Salesman
said, he thought he had another one that had just been brought in. We
looked, we liked, we bought. Deal took a while because Rick,
getting
insurance papers from the Van, locked the keys inside. Took
AAA over an
hour to open it. Everything worked out, we drove the Mustang
home.
While surfing the internet for Mustang info, found the club. Joining
the
club has brought us a lot of fun and wonderful friends.
My friend Rose passed away and her sister mailed me her ashes. We
drove the
convertible to Hiway 1 and scattered her ashes in the Pacific.
