| The Car
of the Month is a 2005 GT Torch Red Mustang belonging to Steve and Janet
Mullaney and their son, Brendan. They purchased this beauty on November
4th, 2004, however, it took two months to actually receive the car. The
dealership kept telling the Mullaney's that the car was on it's way, but
Janet kept just hoping that the car wasn't lost or just sitting on a siding
somewhere. Janet says she is sad to say that their 2005 was not the first
one in town, but the second one. The Mullaney's 2005 GTcame fully loaded
with all the extras. When asked why they purchased this particular car,
Janet replies with gusto, "because it's hot!!!!!!, we have had it
for six months and still people stop and stare!!" "Welike everything
about the car!!!" The only thing they would like to do to the car
is put stripes down the hood, but so far have been unable to find what
they want. In it's first eight days the car was shown at 3 car shows in
Vacaville, Vallejo and Napa. The public got a opportunity to see the new
2005 because some of the car dealerships didn't have any on their lots.
This is not the Mullaney's first Mustang, but their fifth. They have owned
a 1980 Mustang Sedan, a 1984GT with a "T" top that leaked all
the time (they traded it in on a 1985 Camero, "what a mistake!",
says Janet!), a 1992 GT that was stolen in 1994 and only the frame was
found in the East Bay - that was very sad for them and they always wanted
another car or two, a 2003 Mach 1 that they still have and bought from
the same salesman and dealership that they purchased their 2005 GT. |
